Home Groups

Several small groups are set up within the parish, meeting in parishioners' homes, for any interested people. They enjoy a variety of activities including meals together, guest speakers, bible studies, quiz sessions, prayer and praise, etc.
We encourage all members of the congregation to belong to a home group.

English Conversation Group

Looking to improve your English? Come along and join the English Bible Conversation Group.
Listen, read and talk about a story from the life of Jesus. The sessions are fun and free!

Every Friday, 4:00 - 5.30pm

The sessions are held in the Church Hall, 100 Sydney Rd, Coburg, Victoria.

Youth Group Ministry

The youth ministry of St Augustine's Moreland runs in co-operation with St John's West Brunswick and St Thomas' Moonee Ponds.

Fridays nights during term, 6:30-8:30pm

Youth Group is based at St John's which is located on the corner of Melville Road and Victoria Street, Brunswick West.
We usually begin by sharing a meal. Then we play a mixer game and have an opportunity for sharing. Singing and Bible teaching is followed by prayer and supper.

This youth group welcomes all from Grade 6 to Year 12 (also Grade 5 in Term 4). It is a Christian youth group where the Bible is taught and following Jesus is encouraged. However, anyone in this age group is welcome to come and explore Christianity.

If you would like to find out more, please call 9383 5355 or email .

St Augustine’s currently supports missionaries from:

  • Church Missionary Society
  • OM (Operation Mobilisation) Australia
  • Wycliffe Bible Translators

  • We also participate in TEAR, most visibly during December when we promote and run the Really Useful Gift Catalogue.

    Parish Meals

Occasional meals are organized by members of the congregation. These have included a Passover meal on Maundy Thursday. These meals are organized to promote fellowship within the church, provide outreach opportunities and raise the profile of different ministries by providing invited speakers.
