The 10 a.m. Sunday service is suited to all ages and we welcome the participation of children. The style is relaxed and informal with an emphasis on Biblical preaching.

Moreland uses Bible based preaching. The Vicar, Len Firth, and other ordained and lay preachers from the congregation usually follow an expository approach from both Old and New Testaments.
The congregation enjoys a mix of contemporary and traditional music which reflects an Evangelical theological heritage. We have a wide variety of instruments but do not have a pipe organ.
Worship is for the praise and worship of God. Our lively services are based on the contemporary Prayer Book for Australia, with a high level of congregational participation. We have a balance of Holy Communion and Prayer and Praise services.
The congregation is committed to the involvement of children during the service. They participate in singing and prayer during the service, and we often have a children's talk. For their learning time, the children are divided into Kingdom Kinder (preschoolers) and Kingdom Kids (school aged) using Scripture Union material.
We warmly welcome visitors and have a reputation for putting on a "good spread" after church, including plunger coffee (Moreland Road is the coffee roasting belt of Melbourne). This is a relaxed time of sharing life and faith.
